Lots of people don’t really need the Google Home at their homes in India. In fact, there are many, who might not have even heard of it. The Google home is not some piece of tech that you can’t live without.
Whether or not the Google home will be useful for you depends on why you need one in the first place. The Google Home is a device that supports a wide array of functions and can connect to different things in your house.
Before Buying the Google Home
Before anything, let’s discuss the requirements.
- You must have a WiFi at home if you are planning to use a Google Home.
- You must have a good internet connection. Slow connections are going to make the experience that much worse.
If you don’t have the above-mentioned things, then don’t buy a Google Home.
Now assuming you do have a good WiFi and internet connection, The Google home can do a lot. You can use it as your alarm clock, listen to music on it, ask various questions, listen to the latest news and so on.
It’s like having a virtual assistant in the house. You can ask it things and it can either do them or at least help you out.
Another great thing about Google home is that it can connect to other smart devices. But you really don’t have a use for this unless you have a few smart devices at home. Smart lights and smart TV’s, as well as smart switches, can connect to the Google home and you can use it to control them using your voice. You can set schedules to turn the devices ON or OFF, set up routines and much more.
If you can’t find your smartphone at home, and it’s in silent mode, the Google home can switch it from the silent mode and make it ring for you.
